Day 1: Arrival at Calicut.

Once the capital of the powerful Zamorins and a prominent trade and commerce center, Calicut (Kozhikode) was the most significant region of Malabar in the days gone by. It had been very well known as a hub of commerce and trade. Today, lush green countrysides, serene beaches, historic sites, wildlife sanctuaries, rivers, hills, a distinctive culture and a warm, friendly atmosphere turn it into a favorable destination to visit. Day 2: Beypore

Beypore – The place to find Asia’s biggest wood market and traditional wooden ship making industry. The craftsmen happen to be making these Marakalam’s in Beypore since the 1700s. Overnight stay at Kadavu Resort.Located about 10 kms south of Kozhikode town at the mouth of the Chaliyar River, is Beypore. Overnight remain at Kappad Beach Resort.

Day 3: Mahe

On arrival transfer to Ayisha Manzil, a heritage bungalow found on the Arabian Sea. Traditional Dance centre to witness ‘Thayum’ and ‘Kalari Payatu’. In the afternoon trip to the fort and mosque. Overnight stay at bungalow.

Day 4: Visit the Kerala

Aside from the wilderness and the beaches and of course the Ayurvedic treatments ,Kerala can also be known for the traditions and the culture they practice. So we move towards witnessing this spectacle of traditional Dance forms and see the ‘Thayum’ and ‘Kalari Pati’. Overnight remain at bungalow.

Day 5: Wyanad.

Check into Vythiri Resort encompassed by lush green rainforests. This eco-friendly resort provides the visitors with ample opportunities for watching birds, trekking and elephant ride.

Day 6: Visit the nearby tribal village, tribal museum.

Kerala Beaches

After lunch have a 4-km trek to an awe-inspiring ancient cave, providing a look to the rich Indian civilization. Overnight stay in Vythiri Resort.

Day 7: Drive to Cheruthuruthy

to go to the school of traditional art and dance – Natya Kala Mandalam. Visit local potters and weavers. Stay overnight at the Heritage River Retreat Hotel.

Day 8: Morning drive to Cochin.

Cochin is really a more or less a cosmopolitan type of population and would rather find the combination of Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese culture. A little population of Jews still resides there.

Day 9: Drive to Allepey

Have a memorable trip on the fantastic houseboats. Travel through the coconut fringed canals. Relaxing the mind and body as nature envelops you. Day 12: Departure

Transfer to Trivandrum airport for the onward journey.

  1. Hi, I had taken a tour to Kerala in Aug. 2011 with my family. We landed in Cochin and we were picked up by the representative from The Best India Tour. We stayed in Casino hotel, which is very good and we enjoyed a lot. We can say that these guys provide what they charge you. So we would recomments this travel company to all our friends and relatives for their travel in India.
